Quality, testing and the standards we work to
Quality is embedded in every phase — from design review and material procurement through fabrication, testing and final delivery.
Six checks before anything ships
- 01
Material inspection
All incoming raw materials inspected against mill test certificates before release to production.
- 02
In-process inspection
Dimensional checks, fit-up verification and weld inspection at defined hold points.
- 03
Weld quality control
All procedures qualified to ASME IX. Welders individually certified. Visual inspection mandatory.
- 04
Non-destructive testing
RT, UT, MPI and thickness gauging applied per code or client specification.
- 05
Hydrostatic testing
Pressure equipment tested at 1.5× design pressure.
- 06
Final inspection
Comprehensive dimensional, surface and documentation check before shipment.
Inspection & test methods
Defined per project in an Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), with accredited third-party inspection agencies where required.
| Test method | Application | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Visual Inspection (VT) | All welds | Mandatory examination detecting surface defects, undercut, cracking and profile non-conformances. |
| Radiographic Testing (RT) | Pressure equipment welds | X-ray or gamma-ray examination to detect internal defects including porosity, inclusions and lack of fusion. |
| Ultrasonic Testing (UT) | Welds and base material | High-frequency sound wave examination to detect internal weld defects and measure material thickness. |
| Magnetic Particle (MPI) | Ferritic welds | Detects surface and near-surface linear defects in ferromagnetic materials. |
| Liquid Penetrant (PT) | Non-ferritic welds | Dye penetrant examination detecting surface-breaking defects in stainless steel and aluminium. |
| Hydrostatic Testing | All pressure equipment | Water-pressure testing at 1.5× design pressure to verify structural integrity and leak-tightness. |
| Dimensional Inspection | All components | Dimensional verification against approved drawings using calibrated instruments. |
| Material Verification (PMI) | All materials | XRF-based positive material identification plus mill test certificate review against specifications. |
